CHOCOLATE PROTEIN BALLS
1-3 original #CrushedTonic (each packet has 10g of protein, so add more crushes for more protein)
3.5 cups of rolled oats (GF)
1/2 cup shredded coconut unsweetened.
1/2 cup shredded dates (can add more)
1 T honey
4 T raw cacao powder (not cocoa)
3 T coconut sugar
1/2 or full jar of nut butter
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate bits or cacao nibs
2 T chia seeds
3 T ground flax
1 T vanilla paste or powder (optional)
1 cup of coconut flakes (optional)
Water (add for consistency while mixing)
In a big bowl, mix all of the ingredients below. Knead through the mound, and then shape bite-sized balls using your hands. After, we like to keep in the fridge for about 30 minutes so they get cool (and the nut butter hardens a bit). Roll each protein bite ball on a tray dusted with coconut flakes.
