Nutty Protein Bites with Original Crush

Have a crush and in the mood for a date? 

Us too. But not the kind you're thinking. We're actually talking about these scrumptious, protein-packed, no-bake-necessary protein balls that we love to infuse the original crush to, for that punch of energy and a little bit of sweet. 

INGREDIENTS

1-3 original #CrushedTonic (original flavor, more sachets for more protein)

3.5 cups of rolled oats (GF)

1/2 cup shredded coconut unsweetened.

1/2 cup shredded dates (can add more)

1 T honey

4 T raw cacao powder (not cocoa)

3 T coconut sugar 

1/2 or full jar of nut butter 

1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate bits or cacao nibs 

2 T chia seeds 

3 T ground flax 

Water (add for consistency while mixing, can also use less PB and more water to reduce amount of fat)

1 T vanilla paste or powder (optional)

1 cup of coconut flakes

DIRECTIONS

In a big bowl, mix all of the ingredients below. Knead through the mound, and then shape bite-sized balls using your hands. After, we like to keep in the fridge for about 30 minutes so they get cool (and the nut butter hardens a bit). Roll each ball on a tray dusted with coconut flakes.
