INGREDIENTS1 Turmeric #CrushedTonic
1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or milk of your preference)
1 cup water
3-5 pitted dates (more = sweeter)
2 teaspoons honey
1 teaspoon cinnamon (more or less based on preference)
1 tablespoon fresh grated ginger
1/2 - 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper or crushed red pepper
- In a microwave safe dish, add almond milk, water and dates. Microwave for 1.5 minutes (or until sufficiently hot....yes we know this seems weird, but this step helps the dates blend easier :) you're welcome).
- In a blender, add hot almond milk + water + dates in addition to the remaining ingredients. Blend until smooth. Enjoy!
